ASDEC Accreditation
ASDEC is accredited by the International Mulitsensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC), one of two organizations in the US to receive the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) endorsement for meeting teacher training standards in reading.
ALTA
The Academic Language Therapy Association’s mission is to provide its members with a distinction of excellence by setting high standards through an international certification for individuals who complete rigorous evidence-based multisensory structured language coursework and supervised practicum. ALTA verifies that certified members follow a professional code of ethics and complete continuing education to broaden and strengthen their expertise in the field of dyslexia and related disorders. ALTA provides our communities-at-large with leadership and resources to promote quality practices and guidance in the field of dyslexia.
IDA
The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is a non-profit education and advocacy organization devoted to issues surrounding dyslexia. IDA serves individuals with dyslexia, their families, and professionals in the field. The IDA provides information about dyslexia on its website, publishes a peer-reviewed scientific journal (Annals of Dyslexia), publishes newsletter updates to members; provides referral services to individuals and professionals; advocates for the rights of individuals with dyslexia through the legal and Federal legislative systems.
IMSLEC
The mission of IMSLEC is to accredit quality training courses for the professional preparation of multisensory structured language education specialists.

Establishing criteria of program excellence.

Evaluating and Accrediting MSLE training courses offered by existing independent agencies and centers and MSLE courses offered by other already accredited institutions.
OGA
The Orton-Gillingham Academy (OGA) is a professional organization dedicated to maintaining high standards for the practice and instruction of the Orton-Gillingham Approach, a structured, multisensory approach to literacy instruction commonly used to support individuals with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. OGA provides professional certification, accredits training programs, and offers resources and education for educators, practitioners, and families.
OGA also serves as a professional community, providing continuing education, conferences, webinars, and networking opportunities. Through its certification and professional development programs, the Academy promotes quality, consistency, and expertise in Orton-Gillingham instruction.
