ASDEC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAM
Grades 2-5, July 6 – July 30 (Aftercare options available)

The program provides one-to-one intensive instruction in reading, writing, spelling, and handwriting. For mathematics, keyboarding skills and verbal expression each student works alongside an instructor in a group setting where he/she actively participates in dynamic lessons that involve procedural memory. Physical movement is added to the visual and auditory stimuli to provide multisensory learning. The hands-on aspect of the structured routines facilitates attention and concentration. The careful development of conceptual understanding and the high level of repetition reinforce memory. All activities build on the mastery of skills, which helps students build self-esteem as they experience success each day.
